Warthog medium sized majolica character jug produced in France circa 1910. Depicted on both sides of the jug are peasants holding a jar of salt in their hands to preserve their recently slaughtered warthog. The warthog is wearing a bib in preparation for a feast with a banner around the pitcher reading "Tout en est bon" or "All is good". He is marked 66 on the bottom.
