Vic Schuler face pot produced by Kevin Francis Ceramics of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 2001. Victor Hugo Schuler (1918-200x) had a lifelong interest in British history and antiques. His 40-year obsession however was collecting Toby jugs. He had a stall on Saturday's at the Portobello Road Market in London and was the recognized world expert on antique Toby jugs, writing two books on the topic. Vic's face pot quote, "Toby or not Toby", shows him contemplating the purchase of another exceptional antique Toby jug.
