Veteran Motorist Lady teapot - Germany circa 1920

Veteran Motorist Lady teapot produced in Germany circa 1920. This lady automobile driver is all prepared for the road in her riding jacket and hat with goggles. She is wearing a pink bow and holding a pitcher with the word Benzin, meaning benzine or gasoline, with both hands. Her head is removeable to fill the teapot and a pink scarf forms the handle of the teapot. The teapot is stamped "Gesetzlich geschuzt" meaning registered in German. Ware marked in this way is commonly referred to as Ges Gesch ware.
