Tyke face pot - Kevin Francis circa 2001

Tyke face pot produced by Kevin Francis Ceramics of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 2001. Triceratops is a genus of chasmosaurine ceratopsian dinosaur that lived during the late Maastrichtian age of the Late Cretaceous period, about 68 to 66 million years ago in what is now western North America. It was one of the last-known non-avian dinosaurs. Bearing a large bony frill, three horns on the skull, and a large, Triceratops is one of the most recognizable of all dinosaurs. It was also one of the largest, up to 30 feet long and almost 6 tons in body mass. Tyke's face pot quote, "Did the earth move for you", comes from Ernest Hemingway's "For Whom the Bell Tolls", when the hero and his lover are describing the intensity of the sexual pleasure they had, it also describes the actual moving of the ground when any large dinosaur walks nearby.
