Toby Jim Jug character jug produced by Wade Ceramics of Burslem, England, in 1968. The Toby Jim Jug characterized Jimmy Edwards, a famous British radio and television comedian. James Keith O'Neill Edwards (1920-1988) was an English comedy writer and actor on radio and television, best known as Pa Glum in "Take It from Here" and as headmaster "Professor" James Edwards in "Whack-O!". Produced in small quantities, the jug is uncommon.
