The Outsider character jug - Greyson Perry 1987

The Outsider character jug produced by Greyson Perry of London, England in 1987. Grayson Perry (1960 - ) is an English contemporary artist, writer and broadcaster. He is known for his ceramic vases, tapestries, and cross-dressing, as well as his observations of the contemporary arts scene, and for dissecting British "prejudices, fashions and foibles". This character jug expresses Grayson's feelings as young artist on the outside of the art community looking in. Note his dark feelings express on the rear of the jug.
