The Demon face pot prototype colorway - Kevin Francis 2006

The Demon face pot prototype colorway produced by Kevin Francis Ceramics of Stoke-on-Trent, England, in 2006. A demon is a malevolent supernatural entity. Historically, belief in demons occurs in religion, occultism, literature, fiction, mythology, and folklore. Belief in demons probably goes back to the Paleolithic age, stemming from humanity's fear of the unknown, the strange and the horrific. Belief in demons remains an important part of many modern religions and occultist traditions. Demons are still feared largely due to their alleged power to possess living creatures. The Demon's face pot quote, "Don't let me get possessive", is a warning to innocents that get in his way.
