The Chef character jug modeled by David B. Biggs and produced by Royal Doulton of Burslem, England, between 1998-2002. A chef is a culinary expert who rules in the kitchen. Most are extremely well-qualified, often as graduates of the world's best culinary schools: The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, or Cordon Bleu in Paris. Many own their own restaurants. A phenomenon of the twenty-first century is the celebrity chef; among the most famous, Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsey and Nigella Lawson in England and Wolfgang Puck, Charlie Trotter and Jean-Georges Vangerichten in the U.S. This fellow looks eager to cater to your preferences and to meet any dietary wishes. Wooden spoons, onions and a striped tea towel form the handle of the jug.
