The Black Man toby jug modeled by Carl Peers and produced by Peggy Davies Ceramics for Kevin Francis Ceramics of Stoke-on-Trent, England, in a 1990 limited edition of 10 as a Special Colorway for UK International Ceramics. The Black Man is a Cross-Legged Toby jug sitting on a tree stump with his left leg crossed over his right and holding a jug of ale at his right shoulder with both hands. A branch of the tree forms the handle of the jug.
