The Black Cat large majolica toby jug in a black coat produced by Moret-sur-Loing of France circa 1920. Designed and signed by George Dreyfus, this cat is sitting contentedly in the warm sun. The cat's tail forms the handle of the jug. The Black Cat toby jug is an advertising jug for the Parisian cabaret Au Chat Noir, as marked on the bottom of the jug.
