Soldier toby jug produced in a brown colorway by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik of Bavaria, Germany, circa 1955. A soldier can be a conscripted or volunteer enlisted person, a non-commissioned officer, a warrant officer, or an officer. Standing in formation with his rifle on his left shoulder, this soldier has served his country for many years. This soldier has a long sabre at his right side. This is one of four known sizes.
