Soldier on Barrel toby jug produced in France circa 1920. Sitting astride a barrel of his favorite wine this Soldier is holding a flask of wine in his left hand and glass in his right. He is so satiated that his shirt has become unbuttoned around his ample belly. The front of the barrel has "Ah ca ua" written on it which is a Spanish expression of delight.
