Scottie character jug version 2 large tankard produced by Lancaster and Sandland of Hanley, England, circa 1950. A Scotsman, or Scottie or Scot, is a man who is a native or inhabitant of Scotland. He is dressed in traditional clothing of the 19th century. The tankard's may sometimes be found with a silver rim around the top. The English registration number 813215 on the bottom of the jug indicates the design was registered in 1936.
