Scottie character jug version 1 small size produced by Lancaster and Sandland of Hanley, England, circa 1950. A Scotsman, or Scottie or Scot, is a man who is a native or inhabitant of Scotland. He is dressed in traditional clothing of the 19th century. A shillelagh forms the handle of the jug.
