Scotsman 3/4 body toby jug produced in Germany circa 1925. A Scotsman, or Scottie or Scot, is a man who is a native or inhabitant of Scotland. With a set of bagpipes slung over his shoulder, he is dressed in traditional clothing of the 19th century. The ends of the scarf he wears under his hat forms the handle of the jug.
