Scotsman 3/4 body toby jug produced by Artone Pottery of Burslem, England, circa 1980. A Scotsman, or Scottie or Scot, is a man who is a native or inhabitant of Scotland. Often found with a set of bagpipes slung over his shoulder, he is dressed in traditional clothing of the 19th century. A tree branch forms the handle of the jug.
