Sailor character jug produced in the United States circa 1960. A sailor, seaman, mariner, or seafarer is a person who works aboard a watercraft as part of its crew and may work in any one of a number of different fields that are related to the operation and maintenance of a ship. This sailor has traveled the world and has many tales to tell. The Sailor is wearing the common sailor's hat. The jug was a souvenir available at the U.S.F. Constellation ship's store in Baltimore, Maryland.
