Rooster toby jug medium - Saint-Clement circa 1905

Rooster medium majolica toby jug produced by Saint-Clement of France circa 1905. A national emblem of France, the rooster decorated French flags during the Revolution. There are two styles of Rooster pitcher, this one has its entire mouth open for pouring. The rooster's plumage forms the handle of the pitcher.
