Romeo and Juliet jug designed by Albert Hallam and Arthur Gredington, and produced by Beswick of Longton, England, circa 1955. "Romeo and Juliet" is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare about the romance between two Italian youths from feuding families. It was among Shakespeare's most popular plays during his lifetime and one of his most frequently performed. The jug features Juliet on her balcony missing her lover Romeo with a rose trellis on the other side and "Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow" embossed around the bottom.
