Prince Charles character jug modeled by Timothy Potts and produced by Royal Doulton of Burslem, England, as the 2008 Character Jug of the Year to celebrate Charles' 60th birthday. Charles III, born Charles Philip Arthur George (1948 - ) is King of the United Kingdom and the 14 other Commonwealth realms. As prince, he was the longest-serving heir apparent and Prince of Wales. At the age of 73, he became the oldest person to accede to the British throne upon the death of his mother, Elizabeth II, in September of 2022. The handle features a polo rider on horseback, whote feathers representing his title as Prince of Wales, his Admiral's hat, and Winsor castle.
