Policeman teapot produced by James Sadler of Burslem, England circa 1980. A policeman is a member of the local or municipal police force. His duties include protecting life and property through the enforcement of laws and regulations, proactively patrolling assigned areas, responding to calls for police service, conducting preliminary & follow-up criminal and traffic investigations, preparing written reports and field notes of investigations and patrol activities, arresting and processing criminals, and testifying in court. A nightstick and whistle form the handle of the teapot.
