Pig toby jug - Franklin Mint 1986

Pig toby jug designed by Hallie Greer in a blue and white floral decoration, and produced in Thailand for The Franklin Mint of Exton, Pennsylvania, in a 1986 limited edition. The pig is an omnivorous, domesticated, even-toed, hoofed mammal. The size and weight of pigs largely depends on their breed. Pigs grunt and make snorting sounds. When used as livestock, pigs are farmed primarily for the production of meat. A group of pigs is called a passel, a team, or a sounder. Pigs, especially miniature breeds, are kept as pets.
