Pig Holding Vegetables toby jug - Fitz and Floyd 1993

Pig Holding Vegetables toby jug produced by Fitz and Floyd of Medford, Oregon, in 1993. The pig is an omnivorous, domesticated, even-toed, hoofed mammal. The size and weight of pigs largely depends on their breed. Pigs grunt and make snorting sounds. When used as livestock, pigs are farmed primarily for the production of meat. A group of pigs is called a passel, a team, or a sounder. Pigs, especially miniature breeds, are kept as pets. This pig is holding an armload of vegetables to make this evening's dinner from. A stalk of asparagus forms the handle of the jug.
