Pig character jug - Fitz and Floyd 1983

Pig character jug produced in Japan for Fitz and Floyd of Medford, Oregon, in 1983. The pig is an omnivorous, domesticated, even-toed, hoofed mammal. The size and weight of pigs largely depends on their breed. Pigs grunt and make snorting sounds. When used as livestock, pigs are farmed primarily for the production of meat. A group of pigs is called a passel, a team, or a sounder. Pigs, especially miniature breeds, are kept as pets. This pig is wearing a bandana around his neck.
