Perch lemonade pitcher toby jug produced by Royal Tettau Porcelain Factory of Bavaria, Germany, circa 1920 using its Royal Bayreuth tradename. Perch is a common name for freshwater fish from the genus Perca. Perch have a long and round body shape which allows for fast swimming in the water.
Perch have paired pectoral and pelvic fins, and two dorsal fins, the first one spiny and the second soft. These two fins can be separate or joined. This is the largest of three known sizes of Perch jugs with the milk pitcher standing 5" tall and the creamer 4" tall.
