Penguin toby jug produced by W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik of Bavaria, Germany, circa 1940. Penguins are a group of aquatic flightless birds living almost exclusively in the Southern Hemisphere, especially Antarctica. Highly adapted for life in the water, their wings have evolved into flippers.
