Paisano teapot - Leonardo circa 1980

Paisano teapot produced by Leonardo of Italy circa 1980. A paisano is a person who shares one's place of origin, or a compatriot, especially among Italians or people of Italian descent. The term is also used for a person associated with the Italian mafia; a mafioso. The paisano's left hand grasping a bottle of wine forms the handle of the teapot and the barrel of a shotgun forms the spout.
