American Toby Jug Museum 

P.C. 49 toby jug in a large size produced by Shorter & Son of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 1940. A policeman is a member of the local or municipal police force. His duties include protecting life and property through the enforcement of laws and regulations, proactively patrolling assigned areas, responding to calls for police service, conducting preliminary and follow-up criminal and traffic investigations, preparing written reports and field notes of investigations and patrol activities, arresting and processing criminals, and testifying in court. This is the largest of two known sizes with the small size standing 5" tall.
