The Ordinary Toby is the original toby jug featuring a seated common man of the time wearing 18th century clothing and a tricorn hat. This Toby is holding a full pitcher of ale in his left hand, balancing it on his left knee. He is raising a cup of ale to his thirsty lips with his right hand. Note the ornate design on the pitcher of ale in his left hand.
