Ordinary Toby mustard pot produced by Crown Staffordshire of Fenton, England, circa 1925. The Ordinary Toby is the original toby jug featuring a common man of the time wearing 18th century clothing and a tricorn hat. This Ordinary Toby is standing and wearing a cape. His head lifts off in order to spoon out the mustard. This Ordinary Toby mustard pot is part of a cruet set along with a Lady Toby salt shaker and Ordinary Toby pepper shaker. The English registration number on the bottom dates the design to 1922.
