Ordinary Toby jug made in the Yorkshire region Staffordshire England 1800. This toby is smoking his churchwarden pipe between drinks. Yorkshire tobies have some distinct characterists including a six-sided goblet white tri-corn hat with scalloped edging and sponged underglaze bright colors around the base painted dots for eyebrows and a ship's figurehead handle. This is a rare jug.
