American Toby Jug Museum 

Ordinary Toby jug produced in a medium size blue colorway, hand decorated by Jane Holland, by Padre Pottery of Los Angeles, California, with its Regal tradename circa 1940. The Ordinary Toby is the original toby jug featuring a common man of the time wearing 18th century clothing and a tricorn hat. This Ordinary Toby is seated in a high back chair, with a churchwarden pipe in his right hand and his loyal dog laying between his feet. His long hair forms the handle of the jug.
