Ordinary Toby jug holding toby jug - Yorkshire circa 1800

Ordinary Toby jug made in the Yorkshire region of England 1800. An unusual feature, this toby is holding a toby jug in his left hand. Yorkshire tobies have some distinct characteristics including a six-sided goblet white tri-corn hat with scalloped edging and sponged underglaze bright colors around the base painted dots for eyebrows and a ship's figurehead handle. This is a rare jug.
