Ordinary Toby faience toby jug produced by Desvres circa 1920 in a blue and white colorway. The Ordinary Toby is the original toby jug featuring a seated common man of the time wearing 18th century clothing and a tricorn hat. He is holding a jug of his favorite ale in his left hand resting it on his knee and drinking from a cup in his right hand. He is marked with intertwined initials.
