Nun toby jug large size produced in Japan for National Potteries of Cleveland, Ohio, circa 1950 using its Napco Ceramics tradename. A nun is a member of a religious community of women, especially a cloistered one, living under vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. She is designed in a style similar to that of Goebel.
