Newspaper Seller toby jug produced by Old Ellgreave Pottery of Burslem, England, in 1998 using an authentic Shorter & Son mold and a re-imaged backstamp. Braving all varieties of weather, the Newspaper Seller stands at his corner every day hawking the latest edition of the local paper, the Southern Evening Echo. With the latest news and gossip, his job is to sell as many copies as he can every day to the passersby.
