Neptune character jug produced in a cream colorway by Thomas Cone of Longton, England, circa 1955 using its Royal Alma tradename. Neptune is the Roman god of freshwater and the sea. He is a brother of Jupiter and Pluto who together preside over the realms of heaven earth and the underworld. A fish forms the handle of this jug.
