Nanuk the Polar Bear face pot - Kevin Francis circa 2002

Nanuk the Polar Bear face pot produced by Kevin Francis Ceramics of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 2002. The polar bear is a large bear native to the Arctic and surrounding areas. The polar bear is the largest extant species of bear and land carnivore, with adult males weighing up to 1,800 pounds. The polar bear is white- or yellowish-furred with black skin and a thick layer of fat. Its teeth are sharp and adapted to cutting meat. The paws are large and allow the bear to walk on ice and paddle in the water. Nanuk's face pot quote, "All good things are wild and free", remind us to respect and protect nature and all of its fauna and flora.
