Mrs. Bertie face pot produced in a brown colorway by Kevin Francis Ceramics of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 2002. Mrs. Bertie the bulldog is a British breed of dog of mastiff type. Bulldog's are a medium sized, muscular dog with large heads with a thick folds of skin around the face and shoulders. While often used as a symbol of ferocity and courage, modern bulldogs are generally friendly, amiable dogs. With her face pot quote of "I'll give you woof woof", Mrs. Bertie is responding to her husband Bertie's constant request for food.
