Mr. Lucky character jug produced in Taiwan by Hoffman of the United States in 1978. Leprechaun folklore says capturing these small creatures will secure a wee bit of luck in addition to three wishes, or perhaps the location to their pot of gold. Therefore, they have become associated with the "luck of the Irish," which is one of the reasons they remain so popular today. Mr. Lucky has proven to be very elusive over his long lifetime, offering wishes to only a lucky few. A pipe forms the handle of this jug. The Mr. Lucky character jug is a part of Hoffman's Leprechaun Series.
