Monk faience toby jug in red hat and cowl produced by Desvres circa 1890. This Monk toby jug depicts a pious and portly servant of God dressed in his floral monastic robes, a red hat, and brown rope belt. He is holding a mug of ale in his left hand and has his right hand placed over his heart. The jug is marked with a BP for Biompot.
