Milliband & Balls 3/4 body toby jug produced by Bairstow Manor Pottery of Hanley, England, in a 2016 limited edition. Edward Samuel Miliband (1969- ) is a British politician serving as Shadow Secretary of State for Climate Change and Net Zero since 2021. He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Doncaster North since 2005. Miliband was Leader of the Labour Party and Leader of the Opposition between 2010 and 2015. Edward Michael Balls (1967- ) is a British broadcaster, writer, economist, professor and former politician who served as Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer from 2011 to 2015. A member of the Labour Party and the Co-operative Party, he was Member of Parliament (MP) between 2005 and 2015. The two former friends and colleagues had bitter battles and disagreements behind the scenes. Leonard David McCluskey (1950- ) is a British trade unionist. He was General Secretary of Unite the Union, the largest affiliate and a major donor to the Labour Party. McCluskey is suspected of fueling the feud between the two British politicians. Reminiscent of the comedic duo of Laurel and Hardy, the jug is modeled with Miliband and Balls side-by-side and McCluskey in the background, Miliband's right hand forms the handle of the jug.
