American Toby Jug Museum 

Mike toby jug produced by Shorter & Son of Stoke-on-Trent, England, circa 1960. Mike is an Irishman, a born and raised native and proud inhabitant of Ireland. His is full blooded with Irish descent on both sides of his family. Sitting on one of his pigs, Irish Mike is taking a break from the long hike to the nearest village. A shillelagh, which is a wooden walking stick and club or cudgel typically made from a stout knotty blackthorn stick with a large knob at the top, forms the handle of the jug.
