Midshipman toby jug designed by Arthur Gredington and produced by Beswick of Longton, England, circa 1950. The Midshipman toby jug is made in the style of the Midshipmite group of toby jugs from late 1700s. This Midshipman is done as a Midshipmite Fiddler, depicted as a seated soldier with a pitcher of ale at his right side and playing a violin.
