Market Man toby jug produced by Sitzendorfer Porzellanmanufaktur in Thuringa, Germany, circa 1920. This Market Man is a London street vendor who specializes in selling vegetables grown on his farm just outside of town. Today he has a large bunch of beets in his arms. Note the gold anchor mark below the handle on the rear of the jug. This Market Man toby jug is a pair with the Market Woman.
