Lion with Monocle toby jug produced by Royal Tettau Porcelain Factory of Bavaria, Germany, circa 1910 for Mitchell, Woodbury & Company. This lion is dressed in his finest clothes and wearing a monocle. He is prepared for an exciting night on the town with his friends. His tail curls up to form the handle of the jug. The jug carries the MW Co. backstamp of US importer Mitchell, Woodbury & Co of Boston, Massachusetts.
