She is seated in a chair holding a full pitcher of ale with both hands. This Lady Toby salt shaker is part of a cruet set along with an Ordinary Toby pepper shaker and Ordinary Toby wearing cape mustard pot. The English registration number on the bottom dates the design to 1922.
