Lady Snufftaker toby jug produced by Crown Staffordshire of Fenton, England, circa 1950. Dressed in common late 18th century everyday clothing, the Lady Snufftaker is raising a pinch of snuff to her nose with her right hand while holding her snuffbox in her left hand. A long sheaf of tobacco leaves forms the handle of the jug. This is an unusual Lady Snufftaker in that she is seated rather than standing.
