Lady Snowman character jug - Riddell Pottery circa 1955

Lady Snowman character jug produced by Riddell Pottery of California circa 1955. A snowman is an anthropomorphic snow sculpture of a man often built in regions with sufficient snowfall and is a common winter tradition. In many places, typical snowmen consist of three large snowballs of different sizes with some additional accoutrements for facial and other features. This Lady Snowman is wearing a black top hat. A red candy cane forms the handle of the jug. She is a pair with the Snowman character jug.
