King Charles Spaniel toby jug produced by Onnaing of Onnaing, France, circa 1880. The King Charles Spaniel is a small spaniel breed. They became linked with English royalty in the time of Queen Mary I and were made famous by their association with King Charles II. The Mouzin Onnaing Nord backstamp was used between 1858 and 1894, dating this piece to around 1880. This is a very rare jug.
